Zusammenfassung:	The electronic device is equipped with a first unit having a display section and a second unit having an input section, and is configured such that the first unit and the second unit can be attached together and detached from each other. The second unit has a socket capable of accommodating therein a side section of the first unit. The socket is equipped with: a lock mechanism for locking the first unit and the second unit together in a detachable manner; an operation member for operating the lock mechanism; and a dust ejection mechanism (600) for ejecting dust that has penetrated to the inside of the socket to outside the socket in conjunction with operation of the operation member.
