The system comprises a plurality of user interfaces for respective authorised users to enter information 5 regarding a payment obligation and an associated entity, an information storage system in use storing the information regarding the payment obligation, and associated entity and a monitoring system. The monitoring system is configured to monitor the information stored in the information storage system for payment obligations that satisfy at least one predetermined condition. The monitoring 10 system is also configured to automatically at least initiate sending a communication concerning a payment obligation to the associated entity when the payment obligation has satisfied the at least one predetermined condition.
