CUTTING ASSEMBLY AND LAWN MOWER

The invention discloses a cutting component and a hay mower with the cutting component. The cutting component comprises a first cutting piece and a second cutting piece, wherein the first cutting piece is driven to rotate around a first axis; the second cutting piece is rotated around a second axis and is connected with the first cutting piece; a first cutting blade used for cutting is formed on the first cutting piece; a second cutting blade used for cutting is formed on the second cutting piece; the second axis of the second cutting piece is arranged on the position different from the position of the first axis of the first cutting piece; and a cutting zone of the first cutting blade is at least locally overlapped with the cutting zone of the second cutting blade. The first cutting blade and the second cutting blade of the cutting component disclosed by the invention can be used for respectively cutting the overlapped zone, namely, secondarily cutting. The hay mower with the cutting component has excellent cutting effect and grass-smashing effect.
