Method for mounting electric switching systems, and assembly support device for simplifying the assembly of such switching systems

The invention relates to a method for assembling electric switching systems, wherein electric components are wired and/or connected together at specific connection points. The invention further relates to an assembly support device for simplifying and/or checking the assembly of such electric switching systems. According to the invention, a respective component which is provided for connecting in the switching system is identified by an identifying device. At least one target connection point where the identified component is to be connected is determined by means of a connection point determining device on the basis of the component identified by the identifying device, and the actual connection point where the component has actually been connected is monitored by means of a monitoring device. If the detected actual connection point deviates from the target connection point, an error message is output.
