Zusammenfassung:	The storage cabinet according to one embodiment stores a plurality of items, each of which has attached thereto a first tag on which item information is recorded. The storage cabinet is provided with: a first reader that, when a door goes from open to closed, reads the item information that is recorded on a first tag of items that are stored in a case; and a second reader that, when a second tag on which is recorded information that is related to conditions for an item that is to be retrieved from the storage cabinet has approached a prescribed area of the case from the outside of the case, reads the information that is recorded on said second tag and that is related to the conditions for the item. Item information that satisfies the conditions for an item that corresponds to the information that has been read by the second reader is specified from the item information read by the first reader.
