Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a refrigerator and a method for controlling the refrigerator. The refrigerator may comprise: a water intake container in which carbon dioxide and pure water are mixed with each other to manufacture carbonated water; a first dispenser assembly where the water intake container is to be attached or detached and that supplies carbon dioxide and pure water to the water intake container when the water intake container is attached; a dispenser lever; and a second dispenser assembly that dispenses pure water or ice according to the operation of the dispenser lever, wherein the dispensing of the pure water or ice according to the operation of the dispenser lever is interrupted when the water intake container is attached to the first dispenser assembly. Further, the refrigerator may also comprise: an ice-making unit that performs an ice-making operation; a user interface capable of receiving an input of at least one of an instruction to make the ice-making unit start an ice-making operation and an instruction to make the ice-making unit stop the ice-making operation; a dispenser lever; and a processor that controls the ice-making unit to stop the operation when the instruction to stop the ice-making is input through the user interface and controls the ice-making unit to start the ice-making operation when the dispenser lever is operated while the ice-making unit is at rest.
