Zusammenfassung:	A method of supporting levator tissue, the method comprising: creating an incision on a first side of a patient, proximate to an obturator foramen, the incision allowing access to the obturator foramen and to a region of levator tissue, providing a pelvic implant comprising a tissue support portion having a first end, a second end, and a tissue fastener disposed on the first end, providing a delivery tool comprising a needle adapted to extend from the incision on the first side of the patient to the region of levator tissue, the needle comprising a distal end adapted to engage the tissue fastener in a manner that allows the needle to push the tissue fastener,engaging the distal end with the tissue fastener,passing the tissue fastener and at least a portion of the tissue support portion through the incision and securing the tissue fastener to supportive tissue of the pelvic reg1On.
