Zusammenfassung:	An air slide conveyor comprising a plenum chamber configured to receive compressed gas from a gas supply system, and a conveying deck forming a top side of the plenum chamber, wherein the conveying deck being porous for enabling gas to escape from the plenum chamber through the conveying deck, wherein the conveying deck is formed at least partly of a plurality of porous ceramic parts, the porosity of the porous ceramic parts is between 10 and 50 %, the conveyor deck is inclined with respect to the horizontal level by an angle that is between 5 and 90, and the porous ceramic parts is free of openings for gas leading through the porous ceramic parts except for pores forming the porosity of the porous ceramic parts.
