Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a suction device, which comprises a suction unit (26), a dirt collection container (12), a filter apparatus (21), wherein the dirt collection container (12) is fluidically connected to the suction unit (26) via the filter apparatus (21), and a cleaning apparatus (33) for the filter apparatus (21), which cleaning apparatus comprises an external-air valve apparatus (33), characterized by at least one guiding channel (120) for air, which has a first connection (134), which is fluidically connected to the cleaning apparatus in order to provide external air from the at least one guiding channel (120), a second connection (136) for coupling exhaust air of the suction device (26) into the at least one guiding channel (120), and a third connection (138), which is fluidically connected to the surroundings (140) of the suction device, wherein air from the surroundings (140) can flow into the at least one guiding channel (120) via the third connection (138).
