Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a smoke-diffusing accessory (1) designed to function with a barbecue (2), the smoke-diffusing accessory (1) forming a container (5) that can contain smoke-generating materials, characterized in that the smoke-diffusing accessory (1) comprises a lid (6) which engages with the container (5) to form a closed enclosure, the lid (6) comprises calibrated holes (8) so as to regulate the supply of oxygen into the enclosure, and the smoke-diffusing accessory (1) comprises a suspension means for vertically suspending the smoke-diffusing accessory (1) in the barbecue (2) such that the calibrated holes (8) are oriented upwards.
