Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to compositions which may be used as controls and/or references for quantitative and/or semi-quantitative detection methods, in particular for digital PCR or next generation sequencing assays. The present invention also describes synthetic nucleic acid constructs, in particular plasmids which are present in said compositions, kits, their uses and a method involving the use of the compositions according to the present invention. Furthermore, methods for providing the compositions according to the present invention are described herein.
