Zusammenfassung:	A cost-effective system and method of sealing that may be a pack adapted to be distributed from an aircraft in the event of a natural, military, political, or other disaster is described herein. The system comprises a conveyor belt and a sealing mechanism positioned above the conveyor belt. The sealing mechanism is comprised of a motor, a drive shaft rotated by the motor, an eccentric hub coupled to the drive shaft, a drive link coupled to the eccentric hub and adapted to translate rotational motion into liner motion, a pivot arm coupled to the drive link, and a sealing bar coupled to the pivot arm and adapted to seal the packages as the packages pass under the sealing mechanism.
