Zusammenfassung:TISSUE REPAIR ASSEMBLY A method of anchoring tissue to bone, the method comprising boring a hole into bone of a human or an animal and inserting an inserter tube (310) into the hole. The inserter tube (310) having a soft anchoring implant (100) mounted therein. A deployment rod (312) is mounted axially within the inserter tube (310) and proximal of the soft anchoring implant (100) and a suture (120) extending through the inserter tube (310) and connected to a distal end of the soft anchoring implant (312) with at least one end of the suture (120) extending out of the hole. The method further comprises retracting the inserter tube (310) while maintaining the soft anchoring implant (100) in the hole and the deployment rod (312) against the proximal end of the soft anchoring implant (100). The inserter tube (310) being retracted at least to a proximal end of the soft anchoring implant (100). While maintaining the soft anchoring implant (100) and a distal end of the deployment rod (312) in the hole, pulling the said at least one end of the suture (120) to pull the distal end of the soft anchoring implant (100) proximally, and shorten axially and expand radially the soft anchoring implant (100) against the distal end of the deployment rod (312). The method also comprises retracting the deployment rod (312) from the hole while leaving the soft anchoring implant (100) in the hole.
