Zusammenfassung:VESSEL SEALING INSTRUMENT A bipolar electrosurgical instrument (100) comprises first and second shafts (12a, 12b) each having a jaw member (110, 120) extending from a distal end thereof The shafts (12a, 12b) being movable relative to one another about a bifurcated pivot member (150) disposed on one of the jaw members (110, 120) to move the jaw members (110, 120) between a first position wherein the jaw members (110, 120) are disposed in spaced relation relative to one another and a second position wherein the jaw members (110, 120) cooperate to grasp tissue therebetween. The instrument (100) further comprises an electrosurgical cable (210) including a first conductive lead (210a) adapted to connect to a first electrical potential and a second conductive lead (2 1Ob) adapted to connect to a second electrical potential. At least one of the first or second conductive leads (210a, 210b) extend through the bifurcated pivot member (150) to connect to a respective jaw member (110, 120).
