Zusammenfassung:	The purpose of the present invention is to provide a reduced-height illumination device. The illumination device (1) is provided with: a device body (2) in which a box-shaped power supply housing unit (20) for housing a power supply unit (7) and a mounting surface (5) for mounting a light-emitting element are integrally formed using a heat-conducting material; and a glove (4) covering the mounting surface (5). The mounting surface (5) is provided so as to enclose the outer periphery (20B)-(20C) of the power supply housing unit (20).
