Zusammenfassung:	In a production method (200) for an air conditioning apparatus (100), i.e. a refrigeration cycle apparatus, performance testing in a production facility is carried out while each of the devices (a compressor (3), a four-way valve (4), and the like) provided to an outdoor unit (2), and outdoor piping (8) connecting these devices are in a state of having been filled with an inert gas (nitrogen), instead of a flammable refrigerant. Furthermore, shipment is carried out while the devices and the outdoor piping remain in the state of having been filled with the inert gas.
