Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a breast pump unit for pumping human breast milk, which comprises a breast shield (4) for laying against a human mother's breast, a vacuum pump (1) for generating a vacuum, and a suction line (4) for connecting the breast shield (7) to said vacuum pump (1) and for transmitting the vacuum generated by the vacuum pump (1) into the breast shield (7). The breast pump unit also comprises a pressure sensor (3). A measurement line (6) is also present which (6) extends from the breast shield (7) to the pressure sensor (3).
