Zusammenfassung:A printing system that has a printhead assembly having a staggered array of printheads that overlap each other to collectively span a media path, a drive roller for feeding media along a media path and a vacuum platen assembly comprising a fixed vacuum platen and a plurality of movable modules embedded in the fixed vacuum platen, each module having a vacuum platen configured for alignment with a corresponding one of the array of printheads, wherein the fixed vacuum platen is positioned adjacent a section of the media path defining a print zone.
