Zusammenfassung:SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS WITH NON-CONTACTS SWITCH A non-contact button assembly (20) for a powered surgical instrument (100) includes a light emitter (52a-d), a rocker switch (40), and a button shaft (22). The rocker switch (40) defines a through passage (41) about a longitudinal axis of the button assembly (20). The button shaft (22) is disposed within the through passage (41). The button shaft (22) includes a proximal portion (26), a distal portion (23), and a flange (25) positioned therebetween. The button shaft (22) has a deactivated position such that the button shaft (22) is configured to prevent light from the light emitter (52a-d) from illuminating a light detector (54a-d) and the button shaft (22) has an activated position such that the button shaft (22) is configured to permit light emitted from the light emitter (52a-d) to illuminate the light detector (54a-d). 1F08b 108
