Method and system of taskbar button interface

The present invention provides computer-readable memory devices and methods. In one particular aspect the present invention provides a computer-readable memory device storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed, perform operations comprising: displaying a plurality of taskbar buttons in a taskbar of a user interface of a computer, wherein each taskbar button is associated with an open application and wherein the plurality of taskbar buttons includes at least one simple taskbar button having a first size and at least one rich-presentation taskbar button having a second size; receiving a request to an application; resizing one or more taskbar button included among the plurality of taskbar buttons to accommodate a taskbar button corresponding to the application, wherein resizing includes reducing the first size to be smaller than the second size; and displaying the plurality of taskbar buttons that have been resized together with the taskbar button on the taskbar. o c'J 0) CD (D0 - 20 -0 00 0~ a0 3= I-CCO CU ) c0 o W 0 U) 0L C- 0c
