Zusammenfassung:	- 23 Sealed and insulated tank including a pedestal 5 A tank wall includes a sealing barrier (6) and a pedestal (10) for equipment immersed in the sealed tank. The sealing barrier includes a layer of corrugated sheet metal (11) including at least one series of parallel corrugations (15), the layer of 10 corrugated sheet metal being interrupted by a window (25) around the pedestal. The pedestal extends longitudinally through the window. The sealing barrier includes connecting parts (45, 50) for joining the pedestal in sealed manner to a marginal portion of the 15 layer of corrugated sheet metal delimiting the window. The window (25) interrupts the directrices of a plurality (20) of the parallel corrugations of the series and the pedestal is centred at a position situated between the directrices (A) of two parallel 20 corrugations (20).
