Zusammenfassung:Antibodies are provided that bind selectively to MEF2C (Myocyte-specific enhancer factor 2C) - also known as MADS box transcription enhancer factor 2, polypeptide C. MEF2C is one of several biomarkers expressed in committed cells differentiated from stem cells. MEF2C is a transcription factor in the MEF2 family of proteins, which play a role in cardiac morphogenesis, myogenesis and also vascular development. Also provided are hybridoma that produces the antibodies, as well as methods of use and kits for using the antibodies for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
