Moving object detection method

In this moving body detection method, if a pixel value including minimal noise other than each of the noise components "(1) offset components of CCD elements", "(2) gradation components of background light", and "(3) offset components of the optical system" is found at the time of determining a correction value for each of said noise components, then "(5) thermal noise and read-out noise components", which are random noise, are superimposed on each pixel value. So, from a plurality of image signals in which a moving body to be observed has been captured by fixing the image-capturing region, the minimum value of each pixel is selected as an image signal that includes minimal noise other than said four noise components, and the minimum value is used as the correction value for said four noise components.
