Zusammenfassung:An ottoman (10) for use by students (11) having laptop or other computers (12) is disclosed. The ottoman has a frame (25) covered by flexible fabric or similar. At least one combined mains power outlet and low voltage outlet (32) is located on a side wall (23) of the ottoman to permit use or re-charging of the computers. A cable (43) connected to the interior side of the outlet (32) passes from the interior (29) of the ottoman through an opening (30) in the base of the ottoman to a floor or skirting board mounted general purpose power outlet (52).
