Zusammenfassung:CONTROL SYSTEM FOR SPACE HEATERIHEARTH A fuel burning space or zone heating appliance or heater rated or decorative fireplace (hearth appliance) and a method of operating a heater (10) including a gas valve (16), a pressure transducer (20), a second pressure measurement device, a combustion fan (18), and a control (14). The control (14) compares the signal from the pressure transducer (20) to the signal from the second pressure measurement device. If the signals do not sufficiently correspond, the control (14) does not open the gas valve (16). If the signals sufficiently correspond, the control (14) performs an ignition sequence and opens the gas valve (16). The control (14) also compares the signal from the pressure transducer (20) to a desired value based on a current input gas rate through the gas valve (16).
