Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to novel quaternized nitrogen compounds, to the production thereof, and to the use thereof as fuel additives and lubricant additives, such as in particular detergent additives, additive packages that contain said compounds, and fuels and lubricants to which said additive packages have been added. The invention further relates to the use of said quaternized nitrogen compounds as a fuel addition for reducing or preventing deposits in the injection systems of direct-injection diesel engines, in particular in common-rail injection systems, for reducing the fuel consumption of direct-injection diesel engines, in particular diesel engines having common-rail injection systems, and for minimizing the power loss in direct-injection diesel engines, in particular in diesel engines having common-rail injection systems.
