Zusammenfassung:Disclosed is a solar heat receiving vessel (13) arranged at the top of a tower (21) erected on the ground, in which a compressible working fluid is heated and raised in temperature by heat obtained by conversion of sunlight collected by a solar heat collector arranged on the ground. This solar heat receiving vessel (13) comprises modules (41) having the same shape, which are provided with a casing (42) equipped with a bottom plate (46) fixed to the upper surface of the top of the tower (21) and a heat-transmitting pipe unit (43) having heat transmitting pipes (52) accommodated in this casing (42), whereby heat is supplied. The modules (41) are arranged back-to-back and the bottom ends thereof are connected to the outer circumferential end of the bottom plate (46) in order to form the casing (42). Also, a sunlight inlet (51) that has a circular shape when seen from the front or an elliptical shape when seen from the front is provided in the middle of a plate-shaped member (50) that extends obliquely upwards from the outer circumferential end.
