Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to coating compositions for metallic devices, especially for aircrafts. The present invention more specifically relates to coating compositions providing protection against corrosion. An aspect of the present invention relates to ceramic particles, having at least one releasable active material substantially homogeneously distributed throughout each particle, characterized in that at least one of the said active material(s) is a corrosion inhibitor. Another aspect of the present invention relates to a coating composition comprising ceramic particles, said particles having at least one releasable active material substantially homogeneously distributed throughout each particle. Another aspect of the present invention relates to a use of such a coating composition to provide a metallic device with a protection against corrosion.
