Zusammenfassung:Touch positions can be detected with a high accuracy. A receiver receives a charge-discharge current signal of a receiving electrode in response to a drive (pulse) signal applied to a transmission electrode, and outputs a level signal of each electrode intersection. The receiver includes an IV converter that converts the charge-discharge current signal to a voltage signal. A conversion characteristic of the IV converter is set such that phases of amplitude of the voltage signal corresponding to a leading edge and a trailing edge of a pulse wave of the drive signal substantially match each other, and phases of amplitude of the voltage signal corresponding to the trailing edge of the pulse wave and a leading edge of a succeeding pulse wave substantially match each other.
