Zusammenfassung: | A seal 10 for preventing the bypass of solids from a filter screen assembly 12 that can be used in water and wastewater treatment. The seal can include an L-shaped bracket 46 and a housing 22 that can include a channel-shaped member 32. A first panel 5 48 of the L-shaped bracket 46 can be inserted into a groove 26 of a belt 24 of the filter screen assembly 12 so as to fill that groove 26. The belt 24 can be insertably received into a channel recess 34 of the channel-shaped member 32 of the housing 22. A second panel 50 of the L-shaped bracket 46 can be fastened to one side wall of the channel shaped member 32. By securing the L-shaped bracket 46 to the channel-shaped member 10 32 of the housing 22, a track is formed for slidably engaging the belt 24 during its rotational movement. The belt's contact with the first panel 48 of the L-shaped bracket 46 inserted into the belt's groove 26 forms a tight, continuous seal. LOj © N |
