Zusammenfassung:Device state information relating to a plenty of devices to be managed can be collected accurately and effectively. The plenty of devices (2) to be managed from which device state information is to be collected for device management are divided into: a direct collection group (7) which collects device state information by using a portable device state detection unit (4) to execute a detection operation on each of the devices (2) to be managed; and indirect collection groups (8a, 8b) which collect device state information by communication with fixed device state detection units (5, 6) installed in a state which can detect the device state information relating to the devices (2) to be managed.
