Zusammenfassung:	PORT CLOSURE SYSTEM FOR INTRAVENOUS FLUID CONTAINER Abstract A port closure system for use with a fluid container (12) having a fluid port (14), 5 comprises: a port housing (24) adapted to seal the fluid port (14) in closed condition; a cap assembly (38) connected to the port housing (24), the cap assembly (38) being of unitary construction and having a crown (46) connected to a removable cap (44) by a frangible area (48); the crown (46) having an outer shell (50), an under shell (40) mateably connected with the port housing (24), and a sealed opening (42) extending io between the outer and under shells (40, 50); and the removable cap (44) including a cover (60) sealed over the sealed opening (42) by the frangible area (48) and a pull element (62) connected to the cover (60) to allow a user to manually tug on the pull element (62) to sever the frangible area (48) and separate the cover (60) from the crown (46).
