Zusammenfassung:	A cleaning device having a long cleaning-body holder to which a cleaning body used to clean an object to be cleaned is mounted, wherein the cleaning-body holder allows a user to perform smooth cleaning work. A cleaning-body holder (120) forming a cleaning device is provided with a holding plate (132) inserted in an insertion receiving region of a cleaning body. The holding plate (132) has a tilt section (136) tilting such that the height of the tilt section (136) measured in a direction crossing the direction in which the holding plate (132) extends gradually increases toward a connection section from that front end of the holding plate (132) which is first inserted into the insertion receiving region.
