Zusammenfassung:A system and method employing image analysis may provide an objective measure of the state of gingival tissue health. A region of analysis on an image of gingival tissue may be divided into pixels. Each pixel may have an associated color made up of component R, G and B values. A user may obtain an objective measurement of oral cavity soft tissue health by determining an objective measurement of the component color values of a gingival tissue image region and performing statistical analysis on the color values.
