Zusammenfassung:	The system has a passive radio frequency identification (RFID) tag (2) and an active RFID tag (3) provided in a container (1). A gun (4) injects refrigerant into a container and has a tag reader (5) reading the tag (2). A data acquisition and processing unit (10) links an identification number of the passive tag with a number of the active tag. The unit calculates an amount of refrigerant to be injected based on data related to logistic travel, structural and insulation characteristics of the container and physical data of the refrigerant, and provides the injection characteristics to the gun. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating and managing a fleet of refrigerated containers.
