Urine collection bag with integral ant-reflux valve

URINE COLLECTION BAG WITH INTEGRAL ANTI-REFLUX VALVE A urine collection bag (100) formed of at least one flexible sheet of material defining a fluid reservoir (102) is disclosed which includes an anti-reflux valve (120). The anti-reflux valve (120) includes a housing (122) defining a fluid receptacle (122d) which opens into the fluid reservoir (102). The housing (122) is secured to the urine to collection bag (100) such that the opening of the receptacle (122d) is covered by the at least one sheet of material. A cut-out is formed in the sheet of material below the housing (122) opening to define a flap which overhangs the opening in the fluid receptacle (122d). The flap is movable into the fluid reservoir (102) to allow fluid to flow from the receptacle into the reservoir (102). Fluid flow from the reservoir (102) towards the is receptacle causes the flap to seal against a peripheral rim of the housing and, thus, is substantially prevented. 10 - Ir io6 FIG.-4
