Zusammenfassung:The invention improves efficiency in a work for assembling an airbag device (10) with an airbag cover (16). A peripheral edge of the inflator attachment opening of the airbag (10) is secured to a cushion ring (22), the airbag (10) integrally connected to the tip and a rear end of the tubular tether belt (11a) is extended to its full and then pulled back thereby folding back the airbag (10) around the tubular tether belt (11a) and folding the tubular tether belt (11a) and the airbag (10) while being pulled back. Then, the tip of the tubular folded tether belt (11a) is secured to a central part of the back side of the airbag cover (16) for containing the airbag (10) therein.
