| Zusammenfassung: | The invention concerns a pharmaceutical composition in the form of a film-shaped system for transmucosal delivery of steroid hormones. The invention concerns in particular a system for delivering steroid hormones which dissolves in the oral cavity and releases the active substances with high bioavailability. Said film-shaped delivery system dissolves in the oral cavity preferably in less than 30 minutes, the steroid hormone which passes through the trasmucosal route of the delivery system to a blood circuit rapidly increasing concentration in the blood. The steroid hormone concentration in the blood can reach a maximum level in less than 60 minutes after delivery. |
