Zusammenfassung:The folding box for especially cigarettes consists of a box section with a lid hinge-connected to it, and a collar (12) constructed as a separate blank and fastened to a lower part of the box section. The collar, especially a front wall of it, has printing (20,21) such as marking or lettering which is applied on the collar by embossing or imprinting. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a method whereby the printing on the collar produced by embossing is applied at the same time as manufacture of the collar; and (B) a device to manufacture collar blank sections for folding box type cigarette packets.
