Zusammenfassung:An indicator (2) for use on a packaging means (1), said packaging means comprising a first part (5) and a second part (4) movable relative to one another so as to allow the packaging means to be opened and closed, and a longitudinal member (6) extending between the first part and the second part, wherein the indicator comprises: at least one toothed wheel (13) adapted for rotary motion and having a series of peripheral teeth (15); at least one retaining member (19) adapted to engage at least one of the teeth so as to substantially prevent counter rotation of the wheel; and at least one actuating member (17) adapted to engage at least one of the teeth when the first part and the second part are moved relative to one another, such that engagement of the at least one actuating member with at least one of the teeth through the relative movement of the first part and the second part is translated into rotary motion of than indicator for use on a packaging means, said packaging means comprising a first part and a second part movable relative to one another so as to allow the packaging means to be opened and closed, and longitudinal.
