BENDING TOOL AND TOOL HOLDING FIXTURE THEREFOR

The invention relates to a bending tool (3), particularly a folding tool for a tool holding fixture (8) of a folding press, comprising a securing device (11) provided in the form of a detent element (13). Said detent element, when in an arresting position, projects beyond a lateral face (14, 16) of the bending tool (3), engages inside a slot-shaped recess of the tool holding fixture (8), and can be displaced in a direction perpendicular to the lateral face (14, 16). The bending tool also comprises a release device (44) that is assigned to said detent element (13). Detent elements (13), which can be displaced relative to one another and which project beyond lateral faces (14, 16) that are opposite one another inside the bending tool (3), are mounted in a shared guide assembly (25). An actuator (49) having setting elements (48) is mounted between said detent elements, holds these detent elements (13) in the arresting position, and forms a drive connection for effecting the simultaneous, diametrically opposed displacement of the detent elements (13) into a releasing position.
