Zusammenfassung:	A dialogue system for processing the entry of a spoken sequence of alpha-numeric characters like digits of a telephone number that allow self-repair of recognition errors. The system uses a recognition buffer to store the decoded characters. A recognition feedback is given to the user, by outputting characters in small groups. The user can respond to the feedback by giving a correction indication. To detect repair (repetition, substitution, insertion of characters), the similarity of newly inputted characters is compared with the buffer. The system is enhanced by a dialogue state dependent timeout before which entries must take place.
