Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to the first definition of the in trans protective effect of the expression of the CD4 15 genetic construction, among others, in different types of positive CD4 cells on HIV-1 replication and infection in humans. One aim of the invention is to provide a therapeutic composition comprising a soluble protective factor for positive CD4 cells which are obtained from a supernatant of positive CD4 cells with a chimeric protein, e.g. CD4 15, or by a CD4 chimeric protein expression system. An additional aim of said invention relates to the use of both therapeutic compositions in the treatment and prevention of HIV-1 infection in humans.
