Zusammenfassung: | Reducing the total germination index in aqueous dispersions involves performing sterile filtration using deep filtration units. The total germination index is reduced, with an effect corresponding to a logarithmic germination retaining value of 2-5. Preferred Features: The filter media have a nominal deposition rate of less than 1, most preferably 0.2-0.3 micro m. The temperature of each dispersion to be filtered is less than 60, preferably 40-50 deg C. The lipid and/or protein content of the dispersion remains unchanged during the deep filtration. The flow speed on the filter is adjusted to less than 1500, especially 500-1200 L per m . The differential pressure on the filters is held at 0-5 bar. |
