Zusammenfassung:This invention is directed to a receiver in a Global Positioning System Receiver that performs both correlation and navigation function to facilitate channel configuration. The receiver changes the sampling frequency in the software to interface with any type of radio frequency down converter. The correlator is incorporated within the navigation processing unit which resides in a programmable digital signal processor chip. A sampling clock directly connects the digital signal processor to radio frequency down converter.
