Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a device for monitoring mining machines, in particular, tunneling or extracting machines, in which measurement data for operational parameters such as power consumption, motor temperature or position of the cutter bar is recorded. According to the invention, a measurement data memory, which is different from the checking and controlling devices of the advance working machine, is provided in which the measurement data can be jointly stored with the time derived from a time base of the measurement data memory over a predetermined period of time. In addition, the measurement data memory comprises an interface for reading out the stored data.
