Zusammenfassung:	An enteral nutrient antioxidant composition contains vitamin E, selenium, and optionally vitamin C. This antioxidant composition has utility for: inhibiting the surface area of atherosclerosis in an artery; decreasing the oxidizability of low density lipoprotein and very low density lipoprotein. When vitamin C is included, this antioxidant composition has additional utility for inhibiting the thickness of atherosclerotic lesions and the cholesterol deposition in these atherosclerotic lesions.
