Zusammenfassung:	1534554 Gelled hydrocarbon composition BORG-WARNER CORP 26 Oct 1976 [3 Nov 1975] 44488/76 Heading C5G A gelled hydrocarbon composition comprises a normally liquid hydrocarbon, from 0À025 to 10 per cent by weight based on the hydrocarbon of, as gelling agent, a pseudo double salt of an alkyl acid orthophosphate, the orthosphosphate consisting of a mixture of monoalkyl diacid orthophosphates and dialkyl monoacid orthophosphates containing at least one C 1 to C 5 alkyl group and at least one C 6 to C 22 alkyl or alkenyl group and the pseudo double salt being of aluminium and a second cation selected from an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal and ammonium, and from 5-200 per cent by weight, based on the gelling agent of an anydride of a C 2 to C 10 mono- or di-carboxylic acid. The anhydride may be succininc anhydride, maleic anhydride, phthalic anhydride, acetic anhydride, benzoic anhydride or methyl-5-norbornene-2,3 dicarboxylic anhydride. Caustic particulate material may be suspended in the gelled composition.
