Zusammenfassung:A multiple channel purification system (10) for purifying a plurality of samples from a chemical library. The system (10) uses chromatography, and preferably, super critical fluid chromatography. Four parallel channels are coupled to a common analyzer (16), such as a mass spectometer and a computer (18). Samples in each channel pass through an SFC column (32) to separate the sample, a UV detector (34) to detect sample peaks within the sample flow, a micro sample valve (38) to split a portion of the sample to the common analyzer (16), and a fraction collection valve (43). While the remainder of the sample continues to the fraction collection valve (43), the mass spectrometer (16) analyzes the split portion to determine if a target compound is within the sample portion. The fraction collection valve (43) directs the sample portions to one of two fraction collectors (22, 24) depending on target compound pressence.
