Zusammenfassung:A power supply circuit includes two power storage devices (50, 80), one of which is better at supplying current in pulses. Switching (SW3, SW4) and control means (61) are arranged so that current is usually supplied from the power storage device (80) which is better at supplying pulsed current but both power storage devices (50, 80) are used when the voltage across the usually employed power storage device (80) falls below a threshold, e.g. during periods of relatively high current demand.
